Kuban ranked third in RF in terms of export of agricultural products in 2020

Krasnodar region ranked third among the Russian regions in terms of export of agricultural products in January-July 2020. The rating was compiled by profile agency «Agroinvestor».

According to analysts of the edition, the volume of export of agricultural products fr om the region made 1.27 billion dollars over the seven months of this year that is 29% higher as compared with a previous year. In January-July 2019 Kuban exported products of AIC worth 988 million dollars. 

Grain crops account for the highest share in shipments of Krasnodar region  58% or 738 million dollars. Fat-and-oil products comprise 20% or 261.4 million dollars in the total export from the region. Commodities of food and processing industry  sugar, sugar beet pulp, beer, coffee and tea extracts and others  take around 11% or 139 million dollars.

Rostov region heads the rating wh ere the export volume of agricultural products in January-July 2020 made 2.7 billion dollars. Moscow is among the top leaders with export volume of 1.7 billion dollars.
