- For 2021, we plan to supply agricultural products for a total sum of more than $2.7 billion. Currently, grain is traditionally the main share in the export of the region. But we annually increase the share of finished food products with added value. This year alone, we plan to increase the export of finished goods by a quarter and bring the figure to $218 million. For this purpose, we are developing innovative manufacturing technologies and creating competitive and environmentally-friendly products, many of which are already popular with foreign partners, – the Governor of the Krasnodar Region, Veniamin Kondratyev, said in an interview with the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region.

Since the beginning of 2021, the export of agricultural products of the Krasnodar Region has grown by 20%. As of this date, within the International Cooperation and Export national project, the region has supplied grain for a total sum of $920 million, fat and oil products for a total sum of $355 million, finished products for a total sum of $73.5 million, as well as meat and dairy products for a total sum of $14.8 million.

Due to the participation in the national project, enterprises can benefit from various support measures. Thus, Kuban exporters have already signed agreements with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for obtaining investment and short-term credits on preferential terms for a total amount of more than 3 billion rubles. Among them, there are Timashevskiy Sugar Plant LLC, Kanevsksakhar JSC, Yuzhnyi Polyus LLC, Real Ice Cream Factory LLC, KSK Grain Complex JSC, and Korenovsksakhar JSC.

Also, the Krasnodar Region is establishing business contacts with trade missions of Russia abroad. Proposals for the supply of Kuban agricultural products have already been sent to about 50 trade missions in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
